If anyone could give me some advice it would be most appreciated. He seems to provide a lot of interesting information on the history of accounting, but not concentrate on the actual practice of accounting as much. Do his exams cover the historical information or more "number crunching"?
Thanks! 9/5/2006 10:39:08 PM |

Yeah... the first few classes are a bit rough. He'll start getting more into the book pretty soon. I can't remember if any of the historical things were on the first test - but he does tell you what will be, and either what the problems will be, or 2 choices of what the problems could be. The multiple choice section is usually more conceptual, but not always. He also likes a discussion question on the problems section - don't let those trick you up. And if you get behind, confused, lost, or whatever definitely go to him!! He does really well in an one-on-one office setting. 9/6/2006 7:31:59 AM |
