I'm debating selling my old Ibook and thought I'd see what comes out of this. I bought it around 2003ish (can't really remember) and have taken good care of it. It's a 933 MHz G4 with a 15" screen. It has a CD Burner/DVD Player and couldn't tell you the exact size of the hard drive. I think it's a 30 or 40 gig. I can check later if it matters. The biggest downside is it only has 256 megs of ram, which can be upgraded - I was just really lazy. 9/7/2006 6:26:49 PM |

they made at 15" ibook? oooh shit! you must have the only one because every other one made came with a 14" screen.
since it is stock, it is worth about $300-400. at tww you can expect to get 200-300.
keep in mind there is 128 mb of ram soddered onto the motherboard. the max you can upgrade the ibook is 1152 mb of ram via a 1 gig chip. Must be at least PC-2100 DDR. AND the ram chips must have the correct density or it will only show part of the memory of the 1 gig chip. Apple had to be a jackass and design the thing so it can only accept certain memory and not all generic memory.
go to http://www.macsales.com and compare your ram chips to theirs. see if it is the same and it will work. 9/8/2006 8:35:32 AM |

Yea, its a 14". Thanks for pointing that out for me. You're a true friend.
I'm not sure how much I'm looking for. I think probably around 500 but I'm open to suggestions. 9/8/2006 8:39:18 AM |

well, i have a 512 mb Corsair Value memory PC2700 in mine. apple has a spec sheet on what chip densities the computers can address, but its just easier to go macsales.com and look at the memory specs on their website and find a comparable one somewhere else for a lot cheaper. 9/8/2006 12:36:41 PM |

Not really, I decided I probably wouldn't let it go for what people on here would pay for it. It looks too sexy sitting on my coffee table to let go for $250. 11/6/2006 9:58:35 AM |
