Looking for a complete engine for a 2005 mazda 6i. Does anyone know where I can get one besides the dealer?

Well to start off I drive back and forth to fort bragg everyday so you can imagine their are alot of miles. I changed the oil every 6months instead of every 3,000 on that car. I ended up bending a rod and instead of them just changing a rod they want to replace the whole engine but claim I Never changed the oil which is bull$hit. But I figured I will just do it myself since they wanna charge 4,500 for a new block when I can just replace the heads, pistons, and rods for about a grand. I am really just looking for the heads, and rods off of a Mazda 6. Pretty kool huh. Now I at least have an excuse to buy performance parts for it.
So I am ready to take the "your an idiot comments".

you bought a new car and tried to save a little money/time on oil - have you at least learned something from this

even changing the oil every 6 months is ok

highway miles and a good syntheic and you are ok

but just randomly bending a rod doesnt make sense
