i'm thinking about getting it so that i can have 'push email' for my ppc6700

would exchange server be able to download messages through pop from another server and push them to my phone?

from what i've read, there's no other real solutions that will push my pop3/imap email to my phone so it can have blackberry-like instant receipt of e-mails rather than going to send/receive each time. there's mail2web.com but the reply-to address is changed to a mail2web.com address, which looks really bad.

i don't quite know how push e-mail works, but it seems to be a better solution than draining the phone's battery by setting it to check mail every 15 minutes or so.

i'm more than open to other options if they exist
