ok...so...I was at Target with my g/f, and this woman shopping beside us starts talking to me. Very personable woman, seemed more or less refined, but she talks to me for a while, and then says that her husband is expanding a business, and she would like me to meet him. Gives me his card, and I give her my cell #. Her husband calls me like 3 hours later and says he has a company conference tonight in RTP, some guy named Joe..(never gave a last name)...is speeking and he's a "leader in the field"...(kept saying "he's a multi-millionaire") and he would like my girlfriend and I to go to this meeting with him. I looked up his website, and you have to log in to even go in the damn thing. it's http://www.DUNN-ENTERPRISES.NET so I called him back and told him I was advised not to take part in any recruitment organizations. I was nice about it though, and he called back, left me a voicemail that sounded sincere (that's how these people are though...I've heard). Sounds like a scam now...didn't at first. Anyone heard of it? P.S. sorry for the length.

i had some guy call me about an internship information meeting which turned out to be one of those gay summer camp door-to-door sales shit. i made sure to let his partner know exactly what i thought of their deceptive recruiting. fucking shameful to have people come in for that shit (i had just put my resume up on the career center so i wasn't thinking about doing much research before going).
