since i didnt see any comments actually pertaining to the movie, i thought id make some

My dad wanted to go see this the other night, so i went along with him expecting horrible things -- the rock and a bunch of thugs in a movie, greeeeat.

But honestly, after watching it, I've got to say it's an incredible movie. Kinda predictable, kinda lame at points, but overall it's pretty moving. Anyone skeptical about the Rock's acting ability will not be after watching it. Plus, the little black girl with dreads from Full House is in it ... she grew up i must say

as far as formulaic inspirational sports movies go, this film is surprisingly well made.
