I'm talking about like Reader's Corner, Nice Price Books, etc. I have some paperback fiction books I want to sell. I was wondering if anyone has suggestions of places to go, or if I would have more luck on Ebay or something? It's not anything real special. It's books I've read before but I don't really care to keep. I'd rather get a little cash for them. So....which stores give the most $ for a book? 9/14/2006 12:26:18 AM |

ed mckay's is pretty good although you can usually get more credit than cash so i'd only recommend that if you're looking to get some other books in return 9/14/2006 1:10:17 AM |

call around to the used places to see what their rates are
some give 25% of retail
some give you the option of cash or store credit (you get more store credit than you would cash)
half.com and amazon.com are iffy because if there are a ton of books on there you wont get more than $2 for it 9/14/2006 6:42:18 PM |

Just a tip:
The folks at Nice Price don't like it when you bring in some books to get a quote and then take a list of the same books to Reader's Corner to get another quote while the Nice Price people look at what you've got. That's the reason that gay-ass Todd Morman can't sell his books to Nice Price any more. 9/14/2006 10:55:27 PM |
