So, what's the consensus, those of you that also went to the preview?

Personally, I enjoyed it. (Free didn't hurt either.)

I was (rightfully) afraid that it would come off as a horrible Hitch/Anger Management clone, but it was really funny.

I just thought Scoundrels would be a cheesy rip-off from what I saw in the preview/

Now that I've seen it, I admit that it CAN be compared to Anger Management, but is funny and original enough to be worth seeing.

i'm guessing its closer to a cheesy "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels" ripoff than a Hitch/Anger Management ripoff.

nm, made the assumption because of the names

the synopsis for school for scoundrels isn't anything like dirty rotten scoundrels.

The comparison to Dirty Rotten Scoundrels could be made, but it isn't as close as Anger Management.

I haven't seen Hitch, so I can't draw any conclusions on that.


btw, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels is one of my favorite Steve Martin movies (and also a fave in general.)

saw it last night, thoroughly enjoyed it. a couple of scenes seemed a little forced but overall pretty good.
