I was out hiking in Umstead the other day and came across some wild grapes. They were just begining to ripen, but most were too high to pick. I know of one spot to pick them in Cary...does anyone else know of places to pick wild grapes?

Also, if you know of any blackberry patchs, that'd be great, too!

well when I was hiking in umstead I saw at least 10 different kinds of mushrooms, I'm sure at least one kind could be edible.

I don't eat wild mushrooms, but I really appreciate it when my kidneys are functioning so that might have something to do with it.
