wal-mart has phillips gold-plated cables for like $20. they're not superb like monster cables or anything, but they are good and cost about a qurter as much.
radio shack sells that same cable for $80 by the way. I was just at the one by tiger-direct last week.
[Edited on September 16, 2006 at 12:31 AM. Reason : but the radio shack web site has it for $160... hmm... maybe i should buy some and sell on the web] 9/16/2006 12:27:45 AM |

how are the average quality cables gonna deteriorate digital signal? i could see it happening with analog, but with digital it is either 0 or 1, nothing in between 9/16/2006 12:34:08 AM |

my first statement was sarcasm, digital signals are not as susceptable to interference like an analog signal, as long as the 1's and 0's arrive at the destination it doesn't matter, especially with error checking... 9/16/2006 2:26:54 AM |
