The production quality's impressive. I actually thought it was a Schoolhouse Rock for a second.
What I can't imagine, though, is how someone this radical has the means to make something like this. 9/16/2006 10:53:04 AM |

They explicitly state that the U.S. is a murdering imperialistic state
And they feel so strongly about it they'll spend hundreds of manhours making a cartoon about it.
That's radical 9/16/2006 12:51:34 PM |

Huh? Whoever uploaded it to YouTube mistitled it. The first frame of the video has it spelled right... 9/16/2006 12:59:09 PM |

I don't think it's that radical though.
I find the certainty that they make their claims with to be abrasive (whether or not they are right), and the attempt to portray a serious topic with children's music annoying.
So, annoying - yes, radical - no. 9/16/2006 1:07:17 PM |

It is radical, but most things that are true are considered radical nowadays.
Now, if only we could abolish Government and get back to private enterprise system we can right all the wrongs being committed. 9/16/2006 1:51:32 PM |

^ no, but it pretty well sums up the Democrat talking points on foreign policy
I wish they'd run it on real TVs so their crackheaded worldview could be kept as far away from the levers of power in this country as possible... 9/16/2006 3:52:52 PM |

Quote : | "Justice being taken away, then, what are kingdoms but great robberies? For what are robberies themselves, but little kingdoms? The band itself is made up of men; it is ruled by the authority of a prince, it is knit together by the pact of the confederacy; the booty is divided by the law agreed on. If, by the admittance of abandoned men, this evil increases to such a degree that it holds places, fixes abodes, takes possession of cities, and subdues peoples, it assumes the more plainly the name of a kingdom, because the reality is now manifestly conferred on it, not by the removal of covetousness, but by the addition of impunity. Indeed, that was an apt and true reply which was given to Alexander the Great by a pirate who had been seized. For when that king had asked the man what he meant by keeping hostile possession of the sea, he answered with bold pride, "What thou meanest by seizing the whole earth; but because I do it with a petty ship, I am called a robber, whilst thou who dost it with a great fleet art styled a great emperor." |
