I'm considering going to see it probably in the next couple of weeks. I don't really want to go by myself. Would anybody like to go?

I'm actually kinda interested in seeing it myself but the cheapest tickets on ticketmaster are like $30

The wife and I went to see it on friday.

Best off-broadway show i've ever seen.

We paid $53 a piece for "limited view" seating. It wasn't that bad. There was like one part of on side of the stage that was partially blocked.

Where can I get tickets other than the internet? They charge an $8.50 convenience charge per ticket, then $2.50 to print...

We always used to get our tickets at Publix at home.

I think we might just go to the actual place and get them.

Though humandrive said he'd be willing to drop $100 a pop on tickets.

And here I am planning on us getting the $16.50 seats...

Sometimes it's cool to go camp outside the day of and get the front seats for $20. I only did that once, but the time passes quickly if it's a nice day and you've got a friend with you.

FYI: If you go to the ticket office at the BTI center (on the left side if you're looking at the front of it), you only have to pay $1 in ticket processing fees.

I went tonight. I enjoyed it. Visually, it was amazing. The only thing that sucked was sitting in uncomfortable seats for 3 hours.

Since lock nazi closed my thread I'll ask here. For those of you who have been to The Lion King already, what dress would you consider appropriate? I was all prepared for suits and dresses, but then my mom suggested that work dressy casual might be more appropriate. Plus was it cold/hot in the theatre? Thanks.

That's when I'm seeing it too. I waited too late and had to get limited view seats.

I agree with business casual. I went to the matinee so I was really casual. They don't dress like they do in NY for the plays.

It was really good.

I really liked the songs they adapted from the movie.
