If he stays on the chargers, who are loaded, he could become as good as Brady, but I don't know if he will ever have the QB skills of Peyton (I think thats what you meant by Paton).

In 5 years he and Palmer will be the top 2 QB's in the league, compare to Peyton and Brady today, followed by Eli, Big Ben, Vince Young, and if he moves to a better team, (or his current team improves) David Carr.
