Which rappers do you think have the voices that stand out the most from the rest? Ones that your recognize instantly and don't have to wait for them to shout out their name on the record. I know how the majority of rappers sound but some, like Kuniva, Kon Artis and Swifty from D12, all sound the same.

I'm leaving out white rappers cuz obviously their voices sound different.

My top 5:

Jay Z

Ludacris

Biggie

DMX

and of course Snoop, probably the most distinctive of them all

For me its guys like Mos Def and Common that stand out so much.

noone said the most obvious ones:

I also don't have any trouble recognizing KRS-ONE, LL Cool J, Slick Rick, Mos Def, and a couple others. I truthfully dont listen to a ton of rap.

to me it get hard to tell whether i recognize a rapper due to his voice or the syntax, delivery, and inflections he uses

yea alot of times u can tell someone just by what they say, ur right crawford

examples are santana, lil wayne, bird man, Juve, and especially fabolous and mike jones saying or spelling their names all the time

but i agree, Juelz is easy to recognize by his lyrical flow.

ROCK from heltah skeltah

Aesop Rock
RZA (not really his voice per se, more of his manner of speaking like drool is coming out of his mouth)
