I'm looking to get some wheels powder coated. I've heard of top coat inc off US 70, but I hear they won't tape off the lip. Is there any place local that will and decently priced? Also if I can't save the lip how much would it cost for some 18s to get coated at Top Coat?

i've used topcoat before. they wont mask off stuff..

but you could get some high temp masking tape (eastwood sells it) and mask it yourself... or try that other place tkeaton is talking about.

Exactly.

I have some Hamann HM2's that I'm looking to do. I was gonna ask about masking it off myself cause that wouldn't be a problem. If not I'll try the place in Cary that was mentioned.

Carolina Custom Powder Coating
104-E Woodwinds Industrial Ct.
Cary, NC 27511

919-460-9600

take cary parkway north (from tryon), pass kildaire farm, go another few miles, woodwinds sneaks up on you on the right....if you pass the train tracks, you've gone too far

i just had tom do a set of double beadlocks for me, they are fucking fantastic. ive seen his work where the customer wanted masking done to have multiple colors on the same surface and that shit was smooth as glass

I got these wheels after some jackass attempted to paint them with some weird paint. Top Coat had to ship them to Richmond to get blasted.......so it took an extra week. It was WELL worth it though, they look awesome.

Costed $300
