wtf

Quote :
"Coles had six catches for 100 yards and a touchdown in last week's loss to New England and has 14 catches for a league-leading 253 yards in the first two games. Without Coles, the Jets offense could struggle against the Bills, although fellow receiver Jerrico McCotchery has stepped up his game"

The prefix Mc is generally Scottish, while the prefix O' is usually Irish.

But if you hear about a football player with a Scottish name, they are almost always black.

McNabb
McNair
McGahee
McAllister
McCariens

^^^^

A lot of slaves were given the surnames of their masters, although it wasn't common practice. A lot of freed slaves took on the surnames of their masters after the fact. For the most part, that's why you'll see black folk with last names that are European in origin.
