The best thing that could happen for democrats is for the religious right to jump behind a candidate that us moderstate Rs can't stomach.

Hitler got more press in the history books because his regime fell and most of his crimes were laid out for everyone to see. Although stalin's crimes were known for the most part, you didn't have thousands of thousands of first hand accounts, photos, video reels, etc. that you did with the holocaust. That's something that's just now starting to be adressed in our history classes.

It's not a "liberal" thing as much as it is a consequence of the closed nature of the soviet union.

So Falwell says Hillary running for President will energize his base more than Lucifer. While obviously he was joking...is it that far of a stretch?? Think of who his base is... extremely far-right conservative christians. They can't stand Hillary. I actually somewhat agree with this statement.

Try to stay with me, folks: Farrakhan is a major religious figure--whether anyone likes that or not. He often says some kooky things. Did you ever hear that he was "beamed up" from the mainstream media? No, you didn't.

By the way, Gamecat, I would not describe my mention of Farrakhan's rant as anecdotal. The speech was recorded and heard by many--including me.

The point is this, since some of you never seem to understand: If Falwell farts too loudly, it makes the national news. If Farrakhan is allegedly abducted by aliens, no one hears shit about it. Know this: I don't like Falwell; he's a fucking dumbass. But I dislike liberal bias even more. Get it?
