does anyone still buy music anymore anyways? i read that records and especially hiphop records aren't selling well anymore.
i can understand that . . . cause none of this sh!t is good enough to buy anymore with the exception of the Raconteurs 9/27/2006 9:02:53 PM |

i'd say it has more to do with online music sales than shitty music 9/27/2006 10:01:51 PM |

as long as there are lazy people, shitty music will always be available 9/27/2006 11:56:58 PM |

I still buy music... but I don't buy shitty music. The reason hip hop records aren't selling well is because the hip-hop that's worth buying (Project Polaroid, Third Sight) can't be found in any fucking record store around here. 9/28/2006 5:24:55 PM |

i want some numbers on record sales. mp3 sales is still a very small portion of the record industry's business. i know i remember hearing that single sales have plummeted since napster. but i really haven't seen any hard numbers in a while. 9/28/2006 5:28:55 PM |

If I love an album, I'll buy it. But I mean love. One-I-would-voluntarily-sex-in-front-of-a-crowd love. 9/28/2006 5:29:41 PM |

i buy musically constantly. like 2-3 cds/lps/12" at a time and often multiple times per week. i am not into digital music all that much b/c i am not an ipod fan and dont listen to music via my computer. if i d/l stuff i burn it to a cd and buy the vinyl b/c i prefer having the cd and like having the case and artwork and liner notes etc. 9/28/2006 5:53:31 PM |
