I'm having a problem with my subwoofers. They play fine when my stereo is playing the radio but when I switch to CDs they don't play. Anybody have any idea what could be wrong?

yup sounds like its not the subs... probably no signal being sent to them when you're in CD mode


i know my receiver lets you set different settings (bass, treble, etc) depending on the mode you're in (tuner, cd, aux, etc) and one of those settings is sub output on/off

u hooked up the remote wire of the amp to the power antenna wire. the remote is the other blue wire.

Check to see if your amp is actually turned on when the cd is playing. If it's off, that's your problem right there.

If it's still on, however, you have a different problem.
