just got it, seems interesting.... anyone have any pointers?


I loved simcity 2000....

There are manylarge and diverse websites dedicated to this game. I think the majority of what you'll find here will be either: That game Roxx0r, or That game Suxz0r!!!!!!!! I could be wrong though, but I doubt it.

simcity 4 is totally different in its gameplay from previous versions. the great thing about it is now you control the entire region...so no more selling water and power and landfills to random unknown neighbors...

start out small in one region with power/water then build a residential city in the region next to it and connect it with powerlines and water, then go back and load your first region and sell the 2nd region power and water....

also if you use high pollution plants be sure to place them on the corners of your region so that the pollution only effects a small area.

another word of advice would be if you build multiple regions be sure to switch back and forth between them often this way it can 'update' the stats or else you will run into some serious problems down the road

I loved the disasters in SimCity 4.

I would just zap lightning everywhere just to hear the sound.
