^ tie-dreek

He went to my HS, so naturally in my drunken state I went down and talked to him before the game saturday and told him this was the place he needed to be.

He's definitely one of the better defensive players i have seen on the HS level

I think it will be between us and clemson for culliver also

I think last week made a huge impact on the recruits

If the local media would only continue to step up their calls for buntings head and discuss how the program is in shambles over there, that would help to sway a lot of big in state recruits to us, some of which we have missed out on over the years because they haven't really paid attention to just how shitty UNC is. They only see the Miami and NCSU win and all the talk in the papers and thats good enough for them.

Some pretty good schools on that list. Guy is the real deal it appears.

Looks like another DeMario Pressley in the works.

I'd love to get him and culliver

wiliams too, but I think thats more of a longshot

we need to do our job as fans, which we will... and the team needs to win... we'll have a great year recruiting wise

this is the year to put our foot on the neck of UNC in recruiting this state

only problem with him though ( i went to his high school too) is that he is dumb as a fence post.

He is supposedly worse than Larmarcus bond who went to Hertford County high school as well. So

we'll see if he even qualifies. But as of right now, I don't see it happening.

It would be great if he came. He is huge. And I'm sure he would mature even more with our

strength training and stuff.

^bond qualified.....as did spencer, but the "clearinghouse" didnt get to them on time, so they're not here yet.

ON THE OTHER HAND....ALeric Mullins didnt qualify, yet the "clearinghouse" is letting him go to UNC right now. kinda makes you go WTF?

I think he saw that NCSU is completely different for football than UNC is

I bet they weren't happy when they found out he went here for a visit

bunting has often told recruits that he would take back his offer if they visited elsewhere

while we are like, "go have fun, take your visits, you only get to do this once"

recruits get lied to all the time

cooter arnold wanted to play RB... Amato told him he'd be moved to DB if he came to Raleigh. Bunting told him he'd be a RB. Cooter's a DB for the Heels right now.

on this same note, Amato will never bullshit a recruit to be honest with you. Ask any player if they were lied to about a position when they came to NC State. To a tee, Amato gives his players a chance to succeed at the position he recruits them for. If they're unhappy, he will try to work something out for him.

The instances are few and far between. Position changes after sophmore year when they saw PT at their original position does not count.

I haven't heard and I didn't see him there

but I'm sure he was watching

hopefully he and Bond hung out to watch that game

this year, that seemed so bad

could end up being very special... the season and recruiting

John Dunlap, #1, was recruited to fill a Linebacker spot at NC State. We told him we'd give him a shot at WR and if he didn't impress, we were going to move him to LB.

Well, he impressed.

^Jamelle Eugene too. Recruited him as a DB but told him he'd have a chance at RB. Looks good to me so far.
