I've never really been a fan of shredding for more than 30 seconds at a time, but I do enjoy people who approach the guitar from a different angle. Here's one of my favorites, Raul Midon, playing his single "State of Mind" and then explaining how he gets some of the sounds.

ha, raul midon was amazing, i looked and was surprised to see his album is at best buy, but i guess once you hit letterman, you're pretty big time
i liked mongraine's song a little better, but i think midon is probably the better musician, if i may make such a rash judgment after listening to one song from them each
not so much on ms king, not to say she isn't crazy talented, but listening to her on a radio per se versus watching her would not be half as cool, as is the case with most instrumentals i would say 10/2/2006 12:28:47 PM |
