I purchased this laptop on July 17, 2006 thinking I would use it quite often. I still end up using my desktop all the time so I feel like I wasted my money. So now I'm here to sell. Go to this link for a fully detailed spec list on this exact model: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&cc=us&lang=en&product=3193478&dlc=en&docname=c00704336
Here are a few short details: - AMD Turion Mobile Dual 64 Bit processors - 100GB Hard Drive - 1024 MB DDR2 SDRAM System Memory - Webcam built-in above screen with microphone - LightScribe Super Multi 8X DVD+-RW with Double Layer Support - 802.11b/g WLAN integrated wireless
Laptop also comes with 512MB USB flash drive, USB laser cord mouse, carrying case, AC adapter, remote for media control, all paper work, all original packaging and I have also just purchased the Microsoft Office 2003 Student/Teacher edition ($149.00 from Microsoft) which comes with product key, receipts, and disk. I may have forgotten some things so if you have questions please email shbeasle@ncsu.edu.
Edit: This computer has a TV output that accepts an S-Video cable, I do have a like new 12ft S-video cable if you intend to use this option.
Start the bidding at $600.00

Gl, you can find the same specs on a dell at 600 for a new one if you catch it right. 10/2/2006 1:48:34 PM |

Dell's most basic, crappiest, slowest, smallest laptop starts at $499 (that's ofcourse without a student discount). Not to mention Dell's customer service has been an issue lately. Anyways, if a Dell is cheaper and you can find one with what you need for the same price, then by no means don't let me stop you from buying it, I would buy it too! However, I didn't want a Dell, so I bought this. Also, if you don't mind, please build a Dell notebook with the same specifications and post it up here so you can show the others it only costs $600. 10/2/2006 1:54:26 PM |

The new AMDx2 64 bit processors are very nice. Nothing but good things about them in reviews, that's why I bought it. It seems the future of processors is nothing but 64 bit. For multitasking this computer is perfect! 10/4/2006 10:48:29 PM |

Honestly I would have, but I think I already have the laptop sold and I told the guy everything was coming with it. If something changes I will let you know. On the other hand, I bought it from Best Buy for 19.99, it fits perfect inside a bookbag as well. 10/5/2006 6:43:09 AM |
