do you know who's giving it away? You? Just curious. There are handy people on here, and people with money, so if any of them happens to want a piano then it's a good match

Wood can be refinished (work, but doable)
The pegboard can be replaced in a baby grand w/o dismantling the whole thing
Keys can be recovered

Really the only thing that would stop me (barring having a place for it and being able to move it) would be if it had major splits in the wooden body, and I have no way of knowing that since I haven't seen it

thats what im saying most people i would think on here dont know how tough it is to fix pianos, and while its a nice piano, the average user wont be able to handle it and yea this is the 2nd time they have posted it.

I moved out of a house and left a piano behind for a year because I could not find a buyer, even later offered it for free. Finally, the landlord said it had to be out, so neighbors & I disassembled it and gave the harp away. A year or so later, I was at a show at the Brewery, and the band was using my old piano harp onstage !!! I was glad to see that; that it was being used to create music, and not wasted.
