there are music files in my ipod mini but it doesnt show up on my ipod screen or itunes. i know the files are there cus i looked in the hidden folders inside the ipod and its there.

does anyone have this problem or know how to fix this? I've already resetted it and still have the same problem.

There are programs to rebuild the database on the ipod from the HDD's contents. Idk any of the top of my head b/c it's been months since I did this for anyone, but it's out there and it works.

Copy them off the iPod to your computer and re import them. iTunes should rebuild the database.
