i like the new stang and its interior... but i haven't spent much time w/ it...

i'm a big fan of infiniti & high end nissans though

but the g35 doesn't sound like a real car.... it sounds like an 80s arcade game engine

apples and oranges.

i honestly would never buy a ford...or take one for free.

are you just comparing these two cars for the hell of it or are you looking to purchase a car soon. what exactly would you want out of a car etc etc etc.

I think the G35 coupe is the perfect mix of muscle, style, performance, elegance etc.

The newer GT's have a little more power than the G35(rwhp and torque, plus they are lighter) but it doesnt fucking matter on the roads.

So I think I'm leaning towards the G35 coupe. But I still want opinions before I decide on anything...

i just got a 350 2 weeks ago once i realized the g35 couple was out of my price range. i really like it, really fun, really fast (to me anyway, 287 hp) and fun to throw around turns. i love the interior, body hugging seats, gauges etc. drawbacks are no back seats and not much storage space but thats the car so if you cant deal w/ that then dont get it. good luckw/ the decision anyway

ps plz dont get the stang

you can say whatever, but there arent a lot of cars that can sound better than a V8 mustang with exhaust. X pipe or whatever they call them.

man o man. and cobras

It doesnt matter though. The G35 is a well balanced and much futuristically designed than the retro new GT's.

yeah, my thoughts exactly. i have little bit of in-closet american muscle in me, but mustang is weak sauce.

if you already looking at muscle, id seriously consider GTOs. IRS, 400hp LS2, torque everywhere, nice interior, good seats. either that or SRT-8

if you are planning on using it as a daily driver i would get the G35.

This is coming from a guy who owns 2 cobras and has daily driven one since 1999.

camaro, charger and challenger are all well over 4000lbs

4000lbs+ =/= nimble

i'd rather have the g35
are the sti's and evo's a possibility?

or how about an e46 m3?

If money is no object, G35 hands down, no questions asked. There is simply no comparison.

That and in five years, you might actually be able to sell the G35 for more than McDonalds combo money.

Of course, the G35.

And if so, I would suggest you wait for a few months, as speculation points to a bigger engine (and a sexy new redesigned body) in the 2007/8 model, which is borned out by Nissan filing the trademark G37 several months back.

The G35 sedan now makes 306 hp, so the coupe will make at least that much, but probably around 320-340, if they supersize the engine to 3.7 litres.

yeah the new g35 coupe concept is ridiculous and the production model will probably look pretty much the same.

I thought it just looked like a g35? I know the 4dr G35 is nothing to write home about but I wouldn't say it looks like shit.

Your mom sounds like an 80s arcade game.

Ford V8s sound very cool, especially when they can breathe a bit. The new Nissan V6 is a very distinctive, good sounding engine. Either way, the sound of the engine should not be much of a consideration, as the cars are not comperable.

The one that's coming here is the GTR, not the normal skyline that they have in other countries at the moment. It looks like it has a broken back, and is pretty ugly imo. Nissan has announced it will feature a TT-V6 [i'm guessing the vq-35] a spy video of it on the nurburgring has leaked out on the internet if you want to try to find it.

^^thats a worse interior than the Evo. At least the Evo has much better seats and steering wheel. But i'm glad to see we share the same HVAC controls. lol
