you should show up early to asobi sesku (like 6.5 hours early) and see my band (the octobers) play.

Man. that's going to be a marathon day if anyone sticks around for all the shows on saturday (12 hours of music?!!?!?)

not to mention:

maple stave (wed night at jo and joe's) and cantwell,gomez and jordan (thursday at chaz's bull city records)
they both kick ass and you should check them out too.

Darnielle played most of my favorites (most notably Love Love Love and Broom People), so he totally rocked.

Oh, and I still hate Man Man.

I'd go see Asobi Seksu if it weren't $15 I'd have to shell out to see ONE BAND. I wonder if they'll be on schedule tomorrow night, too, since, for example, Man Man ran the entire thing an hour late today.

holy shit, what a show!

I loved the Mountain Goats one, and heard most of the songs i wanted. Manman was insane, and I kept one of their spoons because it hit me in the boob.

And while I didn't give Darnielle a handjob, I did ask him about one of his songs, and help him put his guitar in their car, which is just as good.

^yeah, I really wanted to see Asobi, but not for fucking $15
