Wow is http://www.bellsouth.net down for you as well?

All their websites and their DNS servers are not up. I am surprised my DSL line is even running.

2 of their nameservers are down though so that would explain it

that, and the fact that if you're a DSL user the website it forwards you to is probably different than if you're not, like how RR does

Ah you nailed it.

I am using Verizon's DNS servers at 4.2.2.1 and 4.2.2.3 so I am okay now. I was just wondering how spread out the outage was.
