I would think any legitimate sports bar, because they have to have direct TV to get the NFL package, TWC picks up neither ESPNU nor the NFL ticket thing, and every sports bar would surely have the NFL ticket.

^^^ cause they get their channels from TWC which doesn't have espnU (atleast the lineup is the same so I assume so)

TWC and ESPN are both being babies so I don't think we'll ever get ESPNU or ESPN2HD (dunno about NFL Network but I assume it's the same)

I think the deal with NFL Network is that the NFL wants the channel to be included in the basic package

but TWC wants to put it on a higher tier and charge for it.

^^ that's what TWC is saying about ESPNU. here's a reply I got from the guy in charge of that stuff at TWC:

Quote :
"sorry, but probably not. espn will not let us put the network on the sports tier, which is where we think it belongs"

Yet another reason why I will be switching to DirecTV once I start residency and get a house.

nowhere, boycott espn-u until they stop being assholes and allow cable companies to carry them

^^^That doesn't really make sense though, since DirecTV & Dish both have it in their sports tier.

My cable service in CA has ESPNU in the sports tier. We just got it like 2 weeks ago along with ESPN2HD and NFL Network.

As more, smaller cable services continue to get it (i have a small service called Astound/WAVE Broadband) I imagine that will put pressure on TWC to get it as well. Sucks TWC has no digital rivals in the Triangle..
