I'm dying to see this, if only for the visual style. I couldn't get enough about the story from the trailer, though it looks engaging.

God. Given that I went by Pùçk before I picked up Gamecat as a handle, I can't help but see this movie. Is it a Dec. 1 release?

Looking forward to this.

A friend of mine called me the other day from Spain to wish me a Merry Christmas and said he saw this flick a week or two ago. Claims it's the best film he has seen in years.

This shit has NINETY-EIGHT PERCENT on Rotten Tomatoes. The one negative review came from Modern Fabulosity, whatever the fuck that is.

wow, what a great second half of '06 movie-wise(this, children of men, departed, bond, borat, etc.) to make up for the shitty letdowns of the first half(xmen, da vinci, superman, pirates)[imo]

Did anyone actually read the Modern Fabulosity review?

It's a gay guy's blog.

There's nothing wrong with that, of course, but I'm not going to take a film review seriously when the first thing I see to the left of the review is an ad for a "Male Resort" with a picture of a naked man in a hot tub with his hand over his junk.

RottenTomatoes ran my Technician review of Switching Goals, the Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen movie.

I gave it eight thumbs up.

Watched it in nyc a few days ago. it was a great movie but I felt a little let down. Very few true "fantasy" scenes, but man is this movie gruesome. Part with a liquor bottle is just, wow. The movie is more focused on war but it was still awesome.

I know. I don't even have the hearing thing as an excuse because the foreign films have subtitles.

saw it today. good movie. spends more time in "the real world" with the "real problems" compared to the fantasy elements... but i think it works really well that way.

BAD. ASS.

Go see this movie. The subs are hardly annoying if you've ever had a spanish class.
