Anyone interested in playing QB for a 4-Man team in the spring? Looking for someone with just a little QB experience (maybe played a year of JV QB or something) or at least feels fairly comfortable and is also willing/wanting to throw once or twice a week between now and then.

If anyone is interested, reply here or send me a message. Also, if anyone has ideas for a better way of finding a QB, I would appreciate it. Its a lot harder finding people like that, not being that age anymore. When I played while in school, we usually just found someone from Garner.

I know the season is a way's off, but hoping to take it somewhat serious. Got me and at least one more guy right now. Hoping to have at least 5 and no more than 6 on team.

Sorry...forgot to say, its intramurals. I think they've only had it for a couple years now. I played a couple years ago.

The field is 50 yards and not very wide. You play 2 reg. season games. If you win one of them, you make the tourney.

If we had enough interested, we could get up a couple teams (or more) and work together...meaning, better chance of having someone to throw with during "offseason" and then scrimmage some before season starts.
Just an idea....

From what I remember, there is one "first down" at midfield. You have to have 2 men on line of scrimmage. You can blitz as many/few as you want, and QB gets 7 seconds to throw pass or its a sack. I think thats a pretty cool rule.

I grew up playing a lot of streetball and its a lot like that.

Is that like saying I had a 142 yard TD reception?

Yeah. NCSU Intramurals. When I played a couple years ago (Spring '05), we played on the very upper fields. The field where you usually see people hitting golf balls.

He's like Cris Carter. "All he does is score touchdowns!"
