Yeah, recalls happen. I'de rather have an ignition component require replacement than a transmission like my friends Acura. Or the Ford relay recall which burned down many a garage.

vehicles with intellegent keys are recalled. No big deal.

You would have had a better point saying the service bullitin about the original 350Z's suspension wearing out.

You DO realize that every car company has had massive recalls at one time or another? Honda recalled nearly 1 million Accords in 1998 because of faulty wiring/fire hazard.

Toyota recalled nearly 1 million vehicles just this past May because steering wheels were breaking.

130,000 is a drop in the damn bucket.

theres a difference between an anti-theft device failing and a car not starting and a cars doors flying open at speed.

"This may cause the latch mechanism to freeze in cold weather and the door could open while the vehicle is moving, the agency said.

Separately, Ford is also recalling 6,164 Escape hybrid SUVs from 2006 model year because a drivetrain shaft may fracture.

If a fracture occurred, it could cause the vehicle to move, even in the park position, NHTSA said."

I doubt I'll ever buy another nissan. I love my Z32, but nissans are overpriced new and they really fuck you over on parts.
