Not about our season. We have a great chance to take this thing (acc title). I was terribly wrong about our fanbase. My last thread http://brentroad.com/message_topic.aspx?topic=438914 was a discussion about our negative fanbase being silenced. It that thread, it appeared as if some of you guys finally awaken and started supporting us. You guys became the biggest and proudest bandwagoneers Ive ever witnessed. I embraced you. I held you in my bosom.

Then, in the wake of losing ONLY TWO CONFERENCE GAMES you guys show your real colors. And they're not red/white, you best's dad-gom believe that. A bunch of pseudo-fans you all happen to be. It dearly saddens me, I swear it. Hey, you know what happens if we win out and clemson loses? The answer to that question is de ja vu. Because the bandwagon will reach capacity once more.

Now, on a different note. The reason why we lost that game is because of D.Evans. He choked once more, let everyone down. Even the peeps who believed in him. Yeah, we had turnovers but our passing game needs to step up. Ive been reading the threads, most of you claimed play calling.Nope, you all don't know what you're talking about. When you've reached your pinnacle of sports knowledge like me, then Ill return. But I refuse to waste my time arguing with cavemen.

I can accept some of that statement because you probably don't know that much about sports. But you are on the right track tho', you just need to focus more on other aspects, rather than who's carrying the ball! Our enthusiasm was low, and evans killed us in the later half of the game. Brown's fumble hurt us, but he was playing injured. There is no excuse for evans.

IF we win out, BC will have to lose another game with both of us having 2 losses. We would then have the tiebreaker over BC. But I don't see us winning out. GT and Clemson are definate losses unless andre figures out how to hold onto the ball and our o-line needs to hold. Clemson's Davis and Spiller are gonna have a field day with our d-line.

Evans made some mistakes, but you can't put any QB in a fourth quarter comeback situation every game and expect him to win them all. The team has to do a better job of scoring early and allowing the RB's to do their job. Also, avoiding the minor meltdowns during the course of the game would help also. It seems like when they make a mistake, they compound it.

this shit goes back to trestman. run the comeback situation type of plays all game. sure we will have a few turnovers but we will have a greater margin for error and score enough to win most of our games by putting the pressure on the other team for a change and actually be able to use our team strength at the end (secondary). the 4th quarter goes by too fast these days to be coming back all the time

FSU has been struggling this year and those who thought they would dominate us were complete idiots. The FSU-NC State games are pretty much guaranteed to be a shootout. Yes, our team seems to play up to the level of our competition. I will give us a slight advantage against GT with homefield advantage tipping the scale. I don't think we can defensively stop Calvin Johnson the way Clemson did and we will be forced to keep pressure on Reggie Ball, which we haven't shown thus far. We need to win the turnover battle and pressure Ball into making bad throws. Clemson is out of the question. A relatively inexperienced QB going into Death Valley and the double-edged sword of Davis/Spiller will wreak havoc on our defense.

Clemson has the best rush offense at nearly 261yd/game and our rush defense is about 145yd/game(UNC and MD are the only ones below us). We're definately going to need a miracle to win that one. And our turnover margin of -9 is gonna have to take a huge swing in the other direction.
