i would imagine they'd put it somewhere near the current practice fields. that'd be the most logical choice.

i mean, yea thats what i've heard but i also read somewhere that it was going to facilitate the men/women's indoor track teams as well. I guess they could hold the indoor meets there. I see them accomodating the football program over track anyday.

it was supposed to be part of the "final phase" of Carter-Finley facilities upgrades but they aren't broadcasting it like they did the north endzone and vaughn towers

I bought a hat the other day in Lids that has "Carter-Finley" on the front and "60,180" on the back. The number on the back was supposed to be the seating capacity. Then I looked at the real seating capacity from this year and frowned.

With this type of hype and letdown, I'm thinking they'll promise an indoor facility, then build 4 walls and jet, leaving the roof undone...

I thought it was planned to go over there near the Murphy Center. There is plenty of room on the Southwest side of the stadium. I imagine they would want indoor facilities proximate to locker rooms and training facilities. It would seem odd for the team to have a 400 yard walk (with equipment, etc.) in nasty weather to the rainy day facilities.

i always wondered about that.

They should make a dry/heated mobile tunnel to lay down on the way from murphy center to the practive fields....
