Are used tires worth it, or do you find they are often defective? I have a compact car, and am looking to beat Walmart's cheapest price for new tires: $45 a tire. Let me know of any places you would recommend. Thanks.

i have never had a prob. with used tires. ive had tons of them put on.

usually they are like $20-$25 for a tire.

they check each tire to make sure its ok.

but if you are one of those "scared to drive on used shit" people, then get new ones.

westage import usually has used tires for i think around $25 a pop. depending on tire.

Pep Boys sells a set of 4 new ones for 99 bucks including installation. If you drive a shitbox, they are good tires
