Who else is going? I just asked Cif82 if he was going to this, and he hadn't heard. I figure if HE hadn't heard, most people hadn't.
So, yeah. This show will kick ass. Those people who aren't going? Imagine me drawing a square in the air in front of me in reference to them.
And, in case anybody still hasn't seen it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vD6bI7ziGPk 10/29/2006 5:42:22 PM |

Some numbers have the special property that they cannot be expressed as the product of two smaller numbers, e.g., 2, 3, 5, 7, etc. Such numbers are called prime numbers, and they play an important role, both in pure mathematics and its applications. The distribution of such prime numbers among all natural numbers does not follow any regular pattern, however the German mathematician G.F.B. Riemann (1826 - 1866) observed that the frequency of prime numbers is very closely related to the behavior of an elaborate function
tapes 'n tapes(annuals) = 1 + 1/2^annuals + 1/3^annuals + 1/4^annuals + ...
called the Riemann Tapes 'n Tapes function. The Riemann hypothesis asserts that all interesting solutions of the equation
tapes 'n tapes(annuals) = 0
lie on a certain vertical straight line. This has been checked for the first 1,500,000,000 solutions. A proof that it is true for every interesting solution would shed light on many of the mysteries surrounding the distribution of prime numbers. 10/29/2006 7:01:50 PM |

Fermat's Rocknroll Theorem states that
Quote : | "annuals^n + tapes 'n tapes^n = local 506^n" |
has no non-zero integer solutions for annuals, tapes 'n tapes, and local 506 when n > 2. Fermat wrote
Quote : | "I have discovered a truly remarkable proof which this margin is too small to contain. " |
Fermat almost certainly wrote the marginal note around 1630, when he first studied Diophantus's Arithmetica. It may well be that Fermat realised that his remarkable proof was wrong, however, since all his other theorems were stated and restated in challenge problems that Fermat sent to other mathematicians. Although the special cases of n = 3 and n = 4 were issued as challenges (and Fermat did know how to prove these) the general theorem was never mentioned again by Fermat.10/30/2006 6:12:05 PM |

not kidding. seen annuals 3 times now, and i've been dissapointed every time. adam baker, the lead singer dude, seems to become more of a douche at every show. plus that last song they played, i don't think it was on the album, but god that was one of the worst songs i've ever heard.
tapes 'n tapes i just thought were boring because their songs are boring. but my gf likes them and she thought it sucked too so who knows. at least that trivia game near the bar is fun. 10/31/2006 11:44:59 AM |

This show rocked and the first Annuals song blew my mind, reminded me of 3 or 4 animal collective songs rolled up in one. 10/31/2006 6:15:36 PM |
