crazy

I would do this, but then I'd feel like an even bigger nerd. Maybe I'll skip 1-3 and show up for 4-6.

Cinemax is owned by HBO, so that's why it's being promoted on HBO.

i watched all 6 over a 4 night spread. i had never seen any of them before then. i have a few questions though about the bigger story

was the prophecy right about anakin after all since he changed back at the end? or did they just have the wrong guy and the prophecy was actually talking about luke?

palapatine was the apprentice of the old sith lord in the story that was killed in his sleep? he was the actual guy that killed him in his sleep cuz he smiled after he told the story?

was he also anakins father?

I pretty much took it a step too far and assumed this because there were several clues that lead me to thinking this.

the prophecy was semi right about anakin, his betrayal allowed luke in the future to establish a new order of jedi knights. since the old order was slowly losing its force abilities it was kinda necessary to start from a new slate so to speak.

yes, palpatine/sidious was probably the apprentice that killed darth pelagious.

no palpatine is not anakins father, anakin was a child of the force so to speak. think jesus kinda birth

What exactly is Yoda?...is there a reason he is the only one of his type that was bad ass?

you would think if a group of people as bad ass as him that can live til 900 would rule the world

^well i think the green lady jedi may have been the same thing as yoda. there were alot of lifeforms on the planet yoda went to exile on. i think that might have been his home planet and there was no technology there it was just a swamp planet. i would love to see 3 more movies made about yoda and samuel l jackson and palagious and the birth of anakin.

^^
where did you get the jesus thing from?

Where can i find the story of after the movies?

did leah and luke go on to start a new jedi temple and train new jedi after the movie?

were han and chewy new age jedi?

also was chewbacca the same chewbacca in 3 that helped yoda go into his pod into exile? yoda said "thank you chewbacca"

there are like 100 books written about after the end of the sixth movie. collectively called the expanded universe. in the lasest books han and leias son jacen solo has become the new dark lord of the sith following the death of his brother anakin solo. yada yada yada, the kind get boring and i honestly haven't read one in years. basically luke started a new jedi academy/order, leia became chancellor of the new republic and whatnot

the virgin birth of anakin skywalker was stated clearly in the first prequel his mother says "there was no father" or something like that

yodas race is never explored, and i doubt dagobah is his home planet. all the jedi that survived the purge fled to the remotests places they could find. wouldn't make much sense to head home where vader and palpatine could easily find you.

its possible that the wookie that helped yoda was chewie, i hadn't really paid attention to what yoda said. but wookies are supposed to have much longer life spans than humans

The prophecy is about Anakin all along.

Palpatine was Darth Plageius' apprentice.

Lucas left the origin of Anakin ambiguous. Originally, we were led to believe that Anakin was a product of the Force...kind of like Christ's conception. Then in an early Episode III script, Lucas mentions that Palpatine and Plageius created Anakin, but he later changed this to the more ambiguous version we see on film.

I thought fear was the path of the darkside.

Only when you let it cloud your judgment and all that bullshit.

Plus the way yoda was saying it is kind of like saying "I'm afraid that's not possible." Figure of speech kind of fear.

no because he ended up letting him train him but kept saying he sensed grave fear in him. yoda was scared he would turn into darth the whole time. maybe thats why he did. maybe yoda lead anakin down the darkside by not making him master and fearing him. hmmmmm....

^Yeah that kind of blindsided me there, but then again I quit reading expanded universe in middle school, so jacen, jaina, and anakin were all still little kids growing up....
