^^The answer is yes, but I believe that it's not enabled by default. Asking help@ncsu.edu to check on it is a good idea.

actually, it was already enabled when i threw up my php web site on my web space...just make sure you use the...long hand version of php (?) instead of the short-hand, because it won't recognize the short one
