gotta sell the explorer soon and im trynna put the cd player thats in it in my truck

I think you just need the keys.

Do you have the keys to pop out your hu? If not go to a car installation place and maybe they will let you borrow a set long enough to pop it out.

you dont wanna be taking the dash out. thats a lot of trouble. specially for the older cars.

i dont know about an exploder, but on my dodge ram i indeed had to take off the "face" off teh entire dash to get to the cd player mounting screws.

Assuming that the CD player is stock, there are two holes on each side of the face that you can put the ends of coathangers in, push them to the outsides and pull the radio out. To take the whole panel out, there are two screws just above the heater controls - take out those screws and then just pull that panel out (it's just clipped in at that point). Just be careful not to yank the cigarette lighter socket out of that panel or any of the other switches there.

Hey faggots, the hole dash takes a couple hours. To get the radio out all you gotta do is remove two screws above the a/c controls then it clips out.

if it aint stock, then its probably anchored in there with some bolts in the back or side of the CD player. so nigger thieves cant steal it.
