to prove what an awesome fan he is for noticing the facial features and possible former careers of the players on his team.

No, I wasn't trying to be offensive to Sleik or anything. I just wanted to know what this thread was about. No, I wouldn't say it makes you a great fan. Just being there for your guys through thick and thin makes you a great fan. Plain and simple.

^ pick one - he looks like he could be a stand in for Kid, or he could just have his own group

^^^ I haven't watched much bball lately, but part of living in Chicago now requires that I watch each and every game on WGN... this is my first time seeing Kevin Martin.

Doug Christie looked similar before he buzzed his hair off

this guy did pretty great in the spurs series when artest had to sit. he really grew up and turned into a real player taht series. now expect him to become a star. kings have a huuuge upside

bibby-star
wells-possible star
artest-star
abdur rahim-possible star
miller-solid starting c
salmons- prototype "wade" kind of guy. has pottential
douby-future star amazing scorer
thomas-solid starting pf
monia-future solid starter
garcia-future possible star alot of potential here
williamson- lmao big nasty the one guy on the team with no upside

the sacremento queens will be a dominant force if they can keep the bulk of these STUDS.

Yes, Kevin went to WCU.

Went and saw him my freshman year at WCU (he was a sophomore), first game of the season. He put up 44 points in that game. He hardly ever looked like he was giving any effort in the SoCo.

When he came outta high school nobody went after him. WCU was his only offer and the story that he told was that he was like 6-5 and 150 pounds, or something absurd. He grew a couple inches during his time at WCU and added a very small amount of weight. He put on most of his muscle after he jumped to the league.

When he announced he was going pro a year early, nobody on campus really believed he was going to stay in. Most believed he was just doing it to get his name out there. However, after he had some solid workouts and good physical tests, he started to become one of those "hot names" on the draft board. Not a ton of teams went to see him workout, but those that did really liked him. Once word got out that he impressed all the teams that did see him, it pushed him higher up the draft board (eventually into the bottom of the first round, taken by Sacramento somewhere around 25ish, I believe), even to the teams that hadn't seen him workout.

I remember going to the gym one day to hoop for a bit and K-Mart was in there with about five trainers doing every drill in the book. A crowd of people surrounded the court to watch him.

He had 30 as my Kings beat the Bulls last night. I still think the Kings will be the 8th seed in the West this year.

Brad Miller has played 4 games, and Bibby is a really good point guard. Don't sleep on Mike Bibby.

I haven't watched him play much although in the playoffs last year he seemed to bitch alot and walk around with a limp wrist and a strut in his step like someone you see walking out of legends.

Too bad he only had 2 pts vs. the Clippers last night, but the Kings won and that's what I'm worried about. Next match, Dallas Mavs and their 10+ game win streak on Friday. ESPN.
