Clemson, GT, VT, WF and BC are all good, if not great, this year.

Is this the shape of things to come, or is the ACC that bad to where bad teams having good years can win?

Is it correct to think that the entire ACC is going to be way more competitive from now on, obviously not including duke and/or UNC.

As in any team can beat any team on any given night, similar to ACC basketball.

if you take the top and bottom 2 teams from each conference acc is #2 behind sec

no, if you really know football (which you have made it clear you dont) you can tell what is better product by watching the games. You can see the depth, the team speed, etc.


Its the same thing with bball... sure Florida won last year, and LSU and Tennessee had suprising years etc, but on average, SEC basketball cannot compare with ACC. If you watch the games, you can see the difference.

miami has some of the most depth and team speed in the country. that works out well. you really can't tell until the teams play.

wake forest and bc play some of the most sound discipline football in the nation

last year fsu was so bad but they went toe to toe with penn state

duke did well at bama. shrug kentucky was able to score 28 at louisville. wasnt close, but thats not bad.

none of this crap down at the bottom really matters. you're only decent point might be about USC beating arkansas.

you see the SEC has teams that have NATIONALLY recognized defensive stats. that makes them harder to score on and thus beat. so beating up on each other (ex. UF beating UGA, LSU, UT, and putting up a good fight at Auburn) is impressive.

the stats are actually closer than i thought. between offensive and defensive stat, looking at the top 5, the SEC is only placed 2 times more than the ACC. unfortunately all but 1 of the ACC's top 5 stat rankings are from VT, while the SEC's is spread amongst LSU, Auburn, and UF with one from Arkansas.
