I was cleaning out my closet as I'll be moving and realised that I have accumulated quite a lot of clothes (jackets, shirts, pants, shorts..) that I don't need and would like to get rid off. They are not "like new", but none of them are out of shape / torn and are perfectly usable. Having said that, does anyone know of places in and around Raleigh where I can donate my clothes ?? I looked at goodwill community website, but I have a feeling that they accept only "like new" items. Besides, I am not looking to get any money for it. I can't donate them to UNICEF or other child relief orgs coz they are not children's clothes! Any ideas? 11/7/2006 2:12:21 PM |

There is a Goodwill donation center off of Hilburn drive, in the shopping center with the Lowes, Linens & Things, Food Lion, etc. They take anything. That's where I brought absolutely everything that I didn't want when I moved.
And believe me, if you've ever been in a Goodwill, you would know that they do not follow that "like new" rule. 11/8/2006 4:35:34 PM |
