Seriously---- Everyone that will post in this thread has sold (or tried to sell) something in classifieds and had to deal with all the bullshit.

It is one thing to discuss a product, bid, post price checks, etc.... It is another thing to just talk shit, post your own item in a thread that someone else is selling the same or similiar item, or blatently attempr to ruin a thread.

It is also pretty gay that u post a classifieds add in search of someone to do a sketch of a deceased family dog and get a pic of an animated K9 skeleton--- that shit is fine in chit chat... post all the dumb shit you want to be a cock but would it be possible to use the "classifieds" section as an actually trading tool?

for the most part, i agree...i do, however, intentionally insult n00bs who get pissed when someone points out to them that they're goods are overpriced

if someone says something along the lines of "well, i'm selling it for this much and if you don't want it, then GTFO my thread", i just want to make their lives miserable...tdub is, for the most part, made up of intelligent people who can use google as well as anyone, and i see nothing wrong with ruining some classifieds thread by pointing out that the seller has grossly overpriced their stuff

Of course if some n00b is going to throw back an angry flame then of course they are going to feal the wrath... this is why a moderator/moderation is necessary to determine when it has gone from a classified thread to worthless waste of space on page

I feal that entirely too many users are scared away from the forum due to some of the bullshit and veteran users- Classifieds and the way it is designed has the potential to serve as a "pretty" decent tradiing forum (with a little work and proper control)


^ FOR INSTANCE- Your 3 bids of $7 in my pool cue thread are just not necessary- Although i did chuckle.... to some pool n00b, reading your bid (and taking it serious) is hindering my ability to sell the item for a decent price. What is the point in that?

i don't- I just want to ensure that the moderation is handled properly and in fashion so that "classifieds" may develop into a better trading forum.

I know that i could do a better job than anyone else on TWW strictly because I can guarantee that I have posted, sold, and bought more out of there than anyone else on here and understand the pricing scheme very well-

All the forum needs is someone to determine when the flaming has gotten out of hand as well as the trolling. and to take the time to pm some of the n00bs who don;t "get it" to keep them as users and assist them in properly posting items for sale.
