Today, our group from our very large campus organization (which will
remain nameless) gathered to watch the football game against Clemson.
Sadly, there was more laughter at our team than cheers for them. When
we intercepted the ball, not a single cheer sounded. The state of our
football program is no laughing matter to me and hopefully not to you.
On Nov 12, 2004 Chuck Amato stated, "This is the first losing season
this great university has had in seven or eight years, but it won’t
happen again." Unfortunately it has happened again and once again
Chuck Amato did not give the results he had promised. Chuck was also
recently quoted saying that a 6-6 finish which would result in a bowl
game would be a successful season. This is proof in itself that our
own coach expects and accepts a half hearted effort. We are tired of
the "rebuilding" excuse and when a GREAT university has its own fans
laughing at the team, something must be done! I regret ever having to
type this email, but I'm hoping to give you the viewpoint of a
passionate NC State fan and how discouraging and embarassing this is.
Please, make the change now while we are on the downhill slide before
he actually hit the bottom. You know and I know that it WILL happen
soon if things stay the way they are.

No they are not. WE are told to not settle for second best. It was not this ugly during the Ocain era. Fans still supported the team. This is what happens when you get a coach in that does not live up to the hype he set. Never promise anything if you are not going to back it up…… I would rather have Ocain we may have the same record but at least we would have some class about us.

My Grandfather actually wrote him one and he still hasnt answered, it was my email he used so I can post what the reply was.

anyways he went to school with Murphy(roomies at one point) played DE here in '44 and is a substantial donor...

should be interesting to see what he replies to that with.
