damn, i completely forgot UVA got a new gym. when we went to the football game, we took a peak at the old basketball arena and that place was a dump. what's the name of their new arena? we saw a building and didn't recognize it... i think it was paul jones arena? i assume that is the new bball gym.

i think maybe 10% of basketball players in the us (including gyms and playgrounds) know that you can always pick the ball up if you fumble it or miss a shot.

there is no self pass if you shoot an airball you can get it.

if you fumble the ball you can always pick it up. i hate to see guys lose the ball then shield it and call their teamates to pick it up.

Ok first off the students are not all over the place. They have some on one sideline and one of the ends, as well as like 2-3 sections in the corners of the upper deck. The RBC Center has students all around the court, with a large contigency in one end of the court, as well as a number of student seats in the upper deck. The John Paul Jones Arena has less than 20 suites. Do you know how many the RBC Center has? It has 75 luxury suites, 2,000 club seats, and a 500-seat restaurant. The JPJ Arena seats 15,219 for basketball, while the RBC Center seats 19,722. Dont get me wrong it's a nice arena, but definitely not the nicest in the ACC. The Comcast Center and RBC Center are the top ones. State has one of the nicest basketball practice facilities in the nation with the Dail Practice Facility adjacent to the Weisiger-Brown building. Who puts windows in the top of an arena anyways. History has shown us that windows in the seating area are bad for day games.

damn UVA needs to work on finishing their fast breaks.

i had a good idea for a sign for this years UNC game. well it's not really a sign, but it's hard to explain. ok so find that pic of Hansbrough's face, where he looks like an idiot. blow it up, and attach it to a giant blue douche that has arms and legs attached to it, and write his number in white on the front. make sure to have it attached to a stick of wood to use as a handle for holding it up. have some posterboard attached to it above, then write "HANSDOUCHE" on the posterboard after you get in (this way they don't take it from you), and hold it up when the game is under way so that it might make it's way on TV. too bad i'm graduating in Dec.
