not going to post a mod list, but feel free to ask
'90 325i with a light track setup, not sure of the mileage because teh odo took a shit

Also, I started an e30 track build advice thread on bf a long time ago. It has quite a bit of valuable information and resources, if anybody is interested. It outlines some of the popular parts/procedures that people go through during builds:
http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=587614
Hope it helps someone that's considering an e30 track rat

My beater. This was taken before I bought it. It cleaned up a lot with a good polish and wax. For a 17 year old car this thing isn't bad at all. I've been putting 100+ miles a week on it for a few months now and it seems to be doing well (knock on wood.)

I wouldn't mind having an e30 for a DD or even a nice track car.

i bought one specifically as a track rat. it's a little underpowered, but you can't argue with the cost and availability of parts/consumables. great car to grow into.

That would be cool. Let me know what kind of price you're looking for or if there is anything that you'd take as a trade.

used to own a 1987 325i w/200k, still one of the most exciting cars I have ever driven. Got rid of it due to a clutch replacement needed and A/C which did not work. When I graduate I would like to get one and restore it to its former glory. And yes, I have seen some trashed ones driving around campus which makes me sick as well!

Yeh.. and i just decided to switch and order the GC camber plates.. so that'll probably delay things a little. James Clay (yeh, we're friends now ) said they should be ready in a week or two at the most.

However, all the rear end stuff should be here i think so we can do that. we can drop the rear 1.5" and keep the front stock.. woot.

shoot. she'll be stripped to the unibody underneath and rebuilt. control arms/balljoints, tie rods, ALL bushings, new shocks/springs of course, motor/tranny/diff mounts, guibo, driveshaft bearing. maybe tranny output and selector seals. maybe diff seals (i think its leaking from somewhere). some weld in reinforcements.

oh yes.
