Had sprint for 4 years, plan up in January. Lots of dead spots in NC & VA, and sometimes cannot get signals in buildings while others can.

Who should I go with?

and no phones are created equal some phone models can and can't pick up inside some building with the same company. I currently have alltel. I like the prices and my circle.There are a few buildings where my phone does not pick up but my phone is old and I notice my sisters phone (newer) signal is alot better then mine.

i have verizon and i hate it

im about to switch to alltel soon, seems good, heard lots of good things about it

I have Verizon with a VX8300 & am very happy. I don't remember the last time I had a dropped call.

Alltell seems pretty good as well. Sprint does suck around here.

cingular arguably carries the best phones

i have alltell and rarely have a problem with it anywhere I go and I drive from Newport News, VA to Raleigh pretty much every week.

^^yes but every person i know that has ever had cingular HATES IT.

maybe i'm just lucky, but i've had sprint since the summer of 2003 and i've never had major problems w/them.

I've been with alltel since I was 16 and I love it. I've travelled up and down the east coast and to Iowa, and have never had a problem. Their customer service has always been great to me also.

My boyfriend has sprint and he likes it, he's about to sign up for a new phone and plan. He's happy with them also.

I've had it since I was about 16 too and have always been find with them. Since I resigned this past month for 2 more years, I've had to go back in with issues about 12+ times. One of which was that the phone they sold me had it's screen die within a week. More Samsung's problem than theirs though.

I don't know, it's just pissed me off alot.
