i also have a 60gb ps3 which i havent sold yet and i am considering this:

^^ all laptops have sound integrated in the motherboard.

does the sound card come with the cable that plugs into the center jack?
also, by "optical in" does that mean it accepts fiber-optic cable?
basically, i have a "surround-ready" set of speakers, but no receiver and i want surround sound for my xbox, which only has optical out.
