I have never done engine work and was wondering if it would be worth fixing or just replacing. I obviously am not sure what it is, but the bike still runs. Motor is on a gsxr 600.

for all my experience, it's a screw from the tvis valve that's getting crushed by the pistons

my first off the wall guess would be a valve adjustment is in order, but it's really impossible to diagnose a noise like that over the internet. even if you gave us an extremely detailed description.

i'd reccomend getting someone on here that knows what they're doing to look at it, or take it to a shop.

my motor taps as well. it was not broke in properly from the factory though. so that slut is gonna make some noise if i adjust the valves or not.

got a video camera or a mic? Record the noise and post it up!
