"1983: North Carolina State, Houston, Georgia, and Louisville
There was the new thing -- Houston and Louisville put on the kind of show you needed Darryl Dawkins to describe: It was teeth-shaking, glass-breaking, rump-roasting, bun-toasting, wham-bam, glass-breaker I-am-jam stuff. There was the old thing -- N.C. State brought the scrappy underdog, slow-it-down, draw-it-out-and-look-for-the-openings approach from mythic days gone by. There was the new thing, there was the old thing, and then there was Lorenzo.

Grade: A+ "

The timeout we remember, almost everything else, including the championship squad, is forgettable.

Grade: C"

I remember 1993 kinda. At least I remember Kentucky getting dicked over by the officals as they lost in overtime after a bullshit call fouling out Jamal Mashburn. I still hate Michigan to this day because of that game.

Veteran leadership in the champs' triumphs over youthful blah, blah, blah, blah, blah (for full effect, please say these blahs the way Charlie Brown's teacher would -- all up in the incoherent nose)."

Last year's final four was terrible. It was a good tourney until then, but the FF itself sucked.

2 years ago was good, except the bad guys won

3 years ago the FF round was fantastic, but GT was way overmached in the finals.

4 years ago (doesn't seem like that long...) had a great final, but the FF round sucked.

What are you talking about, UNC was up by 2 on that last possession, I guess if Weber didn't call the T.O., Michigan would have been awarded a 3 point basket for the win????? Also, you guys are forgetting that Weber traveled initially. If UM won that game on the last possession with a three, UNC would still be harping on that non travel call for decades and decades to come, Sort of like we did with T.A. on the goaline. You guys need to get the chewing gum that retains memory.

Kind of like when that Tennessee Titan stretched but was a foot short for the win? No, they were down 7 and would have forced OT at best, but everyone "remembers" he was a foot short for the win
